Lalu Bihar Bandh, arrested with his supporters- Vidhan Sabha Election 2015

Bihar Assembly Election - Now a new twist has intensified in the Political arena of Bihar on Monday yesterday. As usual Lalu called for Bihar Bandh on Sunday in protest of non-release of caste based data by the Central Government.

The supporters of the RJD chief were seen in the hook & corners of the state which resulted into problem, as stated in different parts of the state.

He has been reported to be arrested on Monday at the Dak Bungalow Crossing in Patna. While a la rge sum of his supporters alongside some of his MLAs have also been arrested.

If some official reports are to be believed “Around 1200 people have been arrested while around 600 others have been detained in different parts of the state” as stated by one of the officials of the Police.

There could have been heard slogans like “BJP Hatao Desh Bachao” as well as BJP was referred to be a party as “Bharat Jalao Party”.

When Lalu was contacted so jokingly said in his trademark style!!!
“Hum BJP Rupi Gaddar Party ka is desh se khattma karna chhaite hai, jiske liye hummey pure desh ko jaggana hai”.

He further disclosed “I have no seen this type of movement in my entire life except JP one, we want the removal of Narendra Modi”

There has been reported loss of crores of rupees across the state due to Bandh. Most of the shops, Industrial Units, schools, colleges were forcibly closed. Even the supporters of RJD didn’t spare National Highways as they blocked them. On the top of it some of the vehicles were attacked at many places.

Lalu, who is always known for displaying his unique style, came on “Tanga”, pulled by a single horse which was full of attraction with the advertisement of his Party.

Much to the shock of the people, who were passer-bys, there could be seen thousands of RJD workers on the road while carrying sticks and canes. There were also stopped some trains as Patna-Ranchi Janshatabdi Express as well as Hatia-Islampur Express. When Police force came, they forced the people to leave go away from the spot & meanwhile arrested those who were found to be stopping the Police from discharging their duty.

The state president of RJD, Ram Chandra Purve seemed to be the most satisfied one with the progress of the movement. From the dais of one of the rallies, he was addressing he even warned the state Government to release the caste census data as soon as possible.

He added further “We have received a great response from the people so far, everyone is supporting us in this Endeavour. If the caste census data is not released by the Central Government, we will keep taking up this movement to the larger heights, which will certainly be resulted into the downfall of Central Government”.

“This is indeed the second war of Independence for the sake of the under-privileged sections of the society, who have still not been benefited with the rights even after a long gap of 68 years of Independence.

Now what is expected to be generated the outcome of this agitation against the Central Government, led by BJP?

Will it really prove to be a successful affair, as being asserted by Lalu & Party? Or it will just like be any other day.

All these questions are really expected to come out in open in upcoming days as Bihar Vidhan Sabha Elections 2015 are getting closer.


Nitish Kumar- We are the ones, taking Bihar ahead not centre: Bihar Vidhan Sabha Election 2015

The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, who has been reported to be calling a number of Press conferences day by day, in aftermath of preparation for upcoming Bihar Vidhan Sabha Elections 2015-16, likely to be held in November-December this year.

Now in a recent press conference here in Patna, he was seen as someone, who claims credit for Bihar’s growth story. He was quoted as saying “My state has looked forward tremendously under my leadership in last the years. We have achieved a number of milestones while working as a family not as a party”

“We have achieved a ten percent of growth rate, much higher than the national average. Which goes on to show the hard work, put up by laborious people of the state as well as our people-oriented policies, we have also been able to take the lamp of progress not only in single sector but also in a number of sectors.”

“Our growth story has been an impeccable one be it Development in heath, Agriculture, Education or roads. There has not been seen any loophole as the story has been going on well for a full decade.

“By the time, I became the Chief Minister of the state way back in 2005, everything was in mess, there was no sense of social security among the masses, ratio of school going boys and girls had declined. In spite of limited resources in hand, we have got on the ladder of success, which has been a superb growth story indeed”.

He even said now Bihar is in safe hand under the grand association of two local parties we and RJD. So we once again committed to take this legacy forward.

“There was a general perception that there was no power, which could bring about a change for the fortunes of Bihar still we managed to downplay all the negative assumptions, Now reality is in front of you.

Going by the reports, he further claimed “In 2005, the Police ratio per lakh was dismal fifty seven which has now seen a great jump and gone up to Eighty Eight in last ten years.

On the grand occasion of presenting his ways, he also went on to provide grand news for the sake of Journalists community. He added as saying

“Today, we are announcing a grand pension scheme for all the dear journalists of the state, which will also come into action from 1st of August 2015 onwards.”

“The most important fact, we are very much proud of that now we have managed to make fear away from the mindsets of the dear citizens of state. It has been possible just because of kind efforts of the joint coordination of the people themselves. Now citizens can feel free and can visit anywhere, anytime. It has been a reality for so long just because of our set up of rule of law in the state.

Proud Chief Minister of the state even didn’t stop here; he retreated as saying “The most satisfying work of my tenure has been the moment. As literacy rate among girls has increased manifold. We have also taken care of social measures like distributing bicycles & Uniforms to the needy student without any discrimination.

I the end he said; now we are again committed to pave way for the Bihar, where all the dreams could be chased very easily.
